Years in the water teach you where to swim

ABOUT / MARC BRUN

Before thinking about form or execution, I focus on what people are truly trying to communicate. What is said, what remains unspoken, and where contradictions appear. Observation and empathy are central to my process. They allow me to translate complex human intentions into clear, meaningful, creative direction and visual communication.

Understanding a client is essential. Understanding their audience is just as important. By putting myself in their place, I help shape the right concept, define the right tools, and guide messages so they feel natural, engaging, and human.

This instinct has guided my work for more than 15 years across brands, industries, and cultures.

My creative foundation was shaped in Europe, between Belgium and Italy, where art, craftsmanship, and visual culture are part of everyday life. More than a decade ago, I brought those roots to the United States, where I learned to design with greater speed, adaptability, and an awareness of real-world business realities. Europe brings depth and history. America brings energy, audacity, and innovation. My work lives at the intersection of the two, thoughtful and elegant, yet clear and impactful.

Over the years, I have worked with engineers, musicians, builders, entrepreneurs, and marketing teams. Different worlds, one shared challenge: making things easy to understand. I see my role as a connector between vision and execution, aligning teams, clarifying ideas, and building trust through design, often with a subtle sense of humor that brings people closer to the message.

I take my work seriously and approach it with gratitude, curiosity, and care. Good design must do more than look good. It should guide decisions, spark emotion, and communicate honestly. It should feel intentional, human, and clear.

Clarity first. Then, awaken emotion.

ART WORK & ILLUSTRATIONS

MARC BRUN | Commission Procedure.

I am allowing my customer to "participate" in the creation of a unique and personal piece of art that nobody else will have. Allowing them to choose their favorite painter and discuss with me how I can personalize the project with my own touch and feel around their unique home colors. Who wouldn't like to have a professionally painted "Picasso" home.

I am creating portraits in the style and techniques of the artist that you like. I encourage my clients to select several photos that capture the unique expressions of a person. Remember that you want a portrait that you can enjoy for a long time, so choose photos that you really enjoy. Consider an expression that you want to look at for a long time, because a portrait is a lifetime acquisition. A portrait will be treasured for many generations.

We can discuss fees during the initial discussions, based on the difficulty of the project. I look forward to answering all your questions.
